Some tips will be very obvious, as this is just following the order of how each step goes, then just keep reading because you might find something new and interesting.
Sometimes in life, little details make a big difference, and at Showmee2 we value every details to better serve you!
Go to http://www.showmee2.com/ – it will open on a new window so you can read this and edit your profile at the same time 
Choose your username (which will be the name shown under your profile image thumbnail, so it’s best to choose your actual name as username instead of a nickname), and choose your password.
A confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
In order to activate your account, check your email inbox for an email titled “Activate Your Showmee2.com Profile” and click on the activation link. Note: Make sure to check your spam folder just in case it goes there instead of going to the main inbox.
After you activate your account, you will be redirected to start editing your profile page.
The profile edit is divided in 3 easy and quick steps:
Here you choose your main artistic profession and additional artistic career paths. Ex: choose Actor, and then choose Voiceover, Presenter, Musician, Dancer. If you’re a filmmaker you can choose Filmmaker, then choose Producer, Director, Writer, Editor, and the lists goes on, you will see.
Then click save and next.
You add a little bit more about yourself:
Country
State
City
Your showreel youtube or vimeo embed code link.
Note: It’s very important that you add the embed code under the video instead of the youtube/vimeo URL address.
If you haven’t done this before, here is how it is:
Youtube: You just click the “embed” option button under the video, and it will open a small window in it, then you just click to select the code inside the box, and copy it – youtube already have the best settings pre-selected so you don’t need to worry about the options for size or anything, just copy the code as it is, and then paste it in the showreel link field.
Vimeo: the “embed” button shows in the video, so you just have to click in it, it will open a small window, then you click inside the window, copy the code, and then paste it in the showreel link field.
One more tip: if you’re a filmmaker, you can use this space to insert your latest production trailer, or a showreel of all your latest works.
Then you continue editing your profile page adding your:
Representation name
Representation email
Representation number
Additional tip: if you represent yourself, you can either leave this blank or add your own contact.
Then you also have the option to add your direct email and number if you want to make it easier and quicker for people to contact you.
Then you add your official website address or any other website of your choice that you use to showcase your work, ex: imdb, star now, showcast, myspace, facebook (if using any of these sites, remember to use the URL that goes to your page).
Then you add Height, Weight, Eye Colour, Hair Colour, Hair Length, Age Range.
Then you add your Credits, Education, Training.
Tip: To make it even easier you can just copy and paste the info for this section from your existing word document resume, so you don’t have to type everything again
Then you add more of your power skills: Languages, Accents, Cultural Background, Additional Skills and Interests.
Then click save and next.
Then upload your beautiful headshot!
Tip1: for a better image display in the talent gallery and in your profile page, you can crop your headshot in a more square shape, so it fits perfectly in the image gallery.
Tip 2: to make sure you keep your original image as it, make sure you make an additional copy of the image file before you crop it, you can just click copy and paste next to it, then you crop the copied file.
Tip 3: most photo gallery programs will allow you to crop the image in the image view mode, so you don’t need any specific programs for that. In windows for example, you open the image on Windows Photo Gallery, choose the option “Fix” at the top, it will open a small window next to the image, choose “crop picture”, a crop mark will show on top of the image, you just move that mark to the space and shape that you want to select, and click apply, if you’re not happy with it after you apply, you can undo, choose again, and click apply again, until you’re happy, and to save it you can just click “next” to go to the next image, or close the image, and it will save it.
Tip 4: if you don’t have a professional headshot yet, it’s ok, just make sure you choose a photo of you that shows only you, after all, your profile page is about you to show you
After you upload your photo, click save and that’s it, one more effective marketing tool will be in your hands to pump your online profile presence!
